I believe that the meaning of the proverb, "There'll be sleeping enough in the grave," is to enjoy life while you are still alive. I think that you must take advantage of every opportunity that's given to you. Stay active and keep doing spontaneous things while you can. You don't live forever so don't spend your time sitting in your room thinking about how awful your life is. In order to be happy, you have to make an effort. For example, I try to make plans ahead of time so I don't spend too many nights home alone and feeling sorry for myself.

I believe that the meaning of the proverb, "'Tis hard for an empty bag to stand upright," refers to a depressed person unable to feel happy or even pretend to be happy. This person cannot feel any emotion because of abuse that they have received. At this point, they are unable to communicate or function properly because of how inadequate they feel. They don't know what to do with themselves to make them feel better; they're lost and confused. For example, after I felt as if I hit rock bottom in swimming, I realized that swimming doesn't define me as a person and I have to push past this obstacle.
