"He does not possess wealth, it possess him."
This proverb means that when you have wealth, it possess you. When people get caught up in fame and fortune they forget where they come from and they allow the wealth to change them. Since money and wealth can change you, it is very important to understand the value of money. If you do not understand this value you can damage many relationships and the greed will cause you to brake all boundaries just for more. The greed possesses you.
"There'll be sleeping enough in the grave."
This is a very inspirational proverb. It is one of my favourites. This proverb means that you should live your life to the fullest because you will have time to rest when you're dead. Basically you should do what you want to do, take chances, and enjoy every single moment of life. It will be over before you know it, so you have to live it up.
Lauren you gave great advice and very interesting choice of proverbs! very good job!!! :]
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a very good interpretation of his quotes. Good Job, Lauryn :)
ReplyDeleteNot bad... one noticeable mistake. Can you find it when looking this over? At this point, I shouldn't see careless mistakes. Why wasn't this turned in on time?
