I think the proverb "Be ashamed to catch yourself idle." is very realistic and spot on. I think it means that you should be ashamed of yourself when you are not being productive and not doing anything. I definitely agree with this because there is always something productive that you can be doing. I know I procrastinate a lot with homework and I always regret it when I am up into all hours of the night. A more ambitious example would be to not just sit around when you have an opportunity for something you want. Do not sit around and watch someone else get your job. If you have a chance at something take it because you may never get another one.
I think the proverb "There'll be sleeping enough in the grave." is a very motivational and inspirational proverb. I think that it means that you should live it up because you only have one lifetime. There are many other sayings along the lines of this and new ones are always being made. You should accomplish what you can, take chances, embrace change, and not regret anything. You can do all your worrying when you're dead. My friends and I love to just goof off and have fun all the time because there is no time not to. This is a very good proverb that I am sure many people agree with.
I agree with your second proverb and think the same thing. I saw no grammatical errors so good job!
ReplyDeleteI liked how you connected your life with the proverbs like in the first example. Good Job, Kai :)
