I think the proverb "They'll be sleeping enough in the grave", means to not live a shiftless life because you can unwind when you're dead. Live a full, diligent, and active life while you can! Working hard, meeting new people, and finding things that interest you will help you live a blissful life. Whenever theres a bump in the road, don't let it bring you down, just move forward and always think positive! For example, I always find things to do, such as playing sports and hanging out with my friends, that make me a gleeful and occupied person. When things go wrong, I try to think past it and know Ive got so much to be thankful for and ahead of me. :)
I think the proverb "The worst wheel of the cart makes the most noise", basically means that the evil people make the most distractions and harms others. Sometimes people do corrupt things to feel more powerful and superior than everybody else. For example, when I think of "the worst wheel of the cart", i think of the head leaders of a specific "clique" or bullies in schools tormenting others to feel "cool." Whenever someone is being bullied, it is best to tell an adult about the situation.
Very good Lindsay! I like how, in the first paragraph, you talked about your life and what you do to stay positive. I agreed with what you said and you put it in a very good perspective. Keep up the good work! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I really like your explanation and example in your first paragraph about being positive. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI like all of the adjectives that you used. I also liked how easily you could relate to the proverbs that you chose. The two paragraphs seemed to flow very well!

ReplyDeleteNot bad... a couple of typos. At this point, I shouldn't see careless mistakes. Remember to leave out emoticons.
