It was the year 1903 and Laurence Exetey was 19 and he was going to be a father. Laurence loved his wife and unborn child, but he was afraid of not having enough money to support his family; Leaving Laurence no other choice but to get into a very dangerous business.

Not long after starting his new career his wife gave birth to a baby boy they named Laurence jr. Laurence was so happy he had everything he want and yet there was a feeling in the pit of his stomach, as he look into his sons eyes. He brushed the feelings away as just nerves and kissed his son.

Time has passed and now Laurence Senior was now 39 years old had reached higher heights in his career he was now the proud owner of many companies. He was known as a very wealthy man he sent his son to the best schools, got him the best car, and still had money to go on vacation. It all changed when he hired miss daisy windson as a sectary. She seems nice but what Laurence didn’t know that all she wanted was money and lots of it. For a few weeks everything was normal for Laurence he went about his day like any other while miss daisy windson was writing checks under Laurence’s name.

First she was paying her tab at the modern sportte Shoppe and sending money to her son tony spagoni. Her plan was working and she loved every minute of it until Laurence’s son came back. She didn’t like it, she felt threatened and afraid he will find out what she is doing and tell his father. The truth is that Laurence Jr only came back for some family support after divorcing his wife; he had no plans of taking over his father’s business. He loves his father but doesn’t want to be like him, he knows his father works to keep the family afloat but it came with a price. Laurence Jr only saw his dad two times a week, three if he was lucky and only for a few minutes. The business took his father away and for that he wants no part of it.

Miss daisy windson sat at her desk and was righting out a check, when Laurence Jr walk in and ask if his father was busy. She jumped and the check book fell to the floor making a smack noisy when it hit the ground. She froze in her seat when Laurence picked it up, Laurence looked at the check book and then at daisy. Then he asked again if his father was busy she said yes and acted like she was writing something. At that moment Laurence senior walked out his office and greeted his son with a hug and they went back into the office. Daisy started to panic she knew he will tell his father and she will go to jail. She would let that happen so she called her son an explained everything that happened and they made a plan to take out Laurence Jr.

About fifteen minutes later Laurence senior came charging out the room furious and telling daisy he called the cops and they are coming to arrest her she pleaded saying she did nothing wrong and that they can’t arrest her. He just looked at her and slammed the check book on the desk; Daisy looked at it then at Laurence Jr with the most evil look on her face and started laughing as she pulled out gun and aimed it at Laurence senior and shoot one bullet but before the bullet can hit Laurence senior, jr had pushed him and taken the bullet. Laurence senior held his son in his arms telling him to hang on but was too late. Daisy grabs the check book and started writing a check to her husband peter so he can cash it and bail her out of jail, but was to late the cops were there and she was arrested and charged with life in prison. As for Laurence senior he lost his son and couldn’t cope so he fell into a deep depression and so did his business in the recession and not long after he died of a broken heart.
